From St. Moritz to Trento, through the Dolomites and via the northern route to Monte Grappa, from Trento back to St. Moritz
For 21 years, the WinterRAID has been a large, sporty rally through the Alps and the Dolomites. And the only classic car rally in winter that has St. Moritz as its start and finish point. Snow and ice, bitter cold, driving and sporting challenges on the one hand. The comfortable Grand Hotel Trento, excellent food, the company of like-minded people with whom you can share experiences and adventures on the other: that's the WinterRAID!
The new road book: now the passenger has less work!
The roadbook for the RAID DU SUD IV has Jean-Thierry Vacheron from Lausanne. The rally expert designed this important document in accordance with the internationally applicable FIA guidelines.
For the first time, the locations of the special tests are indicated. This saves the passenger a lot of work – and some calculations.
This is also new: the time for a stage no longer has to be calculated, it is stated in the road book.
The new time measurement: You get your result immediately and without waiting
Hanno Maier, head of the timekeeping company Race Result Swiss in Weinfelden, has brought the timekeeping at the RAID up to the latest electronic standard.
The results are constantly updated on the RAID homepage and can be accessed at any time. Waiting for the results is a thing of the past.
The sports management and new tests
Jean-Thierry Vacheron (Lausanne) is the sporting director of the WinterRAID. Member of various rally organizations, expert and rally driver and steward of international rallies has developed new sporting criteria in collaboration with the RAID organization. He is also responsible for the road book. The WinterRAID is becoming even more demanding.
White Star of St. Moritz
The award sponsored by St. Moritz Tourism is one of the most coveted awards in winter rally sport.
The WinterRAID team ranking: triple the winter fun!
Drive this rally together with friends, acquaintances, business partners. Three cars each form a team with its own team name. The winner is the team with the fewest penalty points of all registered teams.
