Detours

Unforeseen route changes and detours will be published on the "Live Updates" page.

However, the following applies: In case of route changes (construction sites, detours, etc.), participants must follow the signposted detour until they reach the RAID route again according to the roadbook.

Should the total length of detours on a given stage exceed 3 km, the time window at the end of that stage will be extended from 12 to 30 minutes. Difficult sections of the route are marked with RAID arrows.

Refueling

Due to the low water level of the Rhine caused by the heat, shipping traffic is restricted. This may lead to fuel shortages in the Vosges and Alsace regions. Participants are therefore requested to start each stage with a full tank, refuel regularly, and preferably carry a full 10-liter reserve canister.

Open gas stations can be viewed in real time via prix-carburants.gouv.fr to be determined.

The breakdown service carries only a limited amount of emergency fuel for bridging a gap. Time lost due to detours for refueling should under no circumstances be compensated for by driving faster – safety comes first.

The time is almost here: RAID 2026 is about to begin! We are very much looking forward to welcoming you soon to an unforgettable rally experience.

The event regulations supplement the Sports regulations, which includes the regulations for timekeeping and scoring, as well as the Conditions of Participation including regulations concerning vehicle equipment and breakdown service.

All regulations can be found on the Sportity app. Please read this information carefully so that you are optimally prepared for the start.

Soon it's time…

RAID 2026 is about to begin! We are extremely pleased to have you join us on this adventure and extend a warm welcome.

Preparations are already in full swing. Together with our new timing partner, Race Result, we have defined all the challenges and driven the course several times. You can expect demanding routes, sporting challenges, first-class hotels, and many great encounters with like-minded people.

Digital rally companion: The Sportity app

To ensure that you always have access to the most up-to-date rally documents, we provide all documents digitally via the Sportity app before, during and after the event. 

  • Download the app Sportity (https://www.sportity.com/app) via Apple Store or Google Play Store on her mobile and enter the following Event password a: RAID-founded-1991
  • The terms and conditions of participation and the sports regulations are already available in the app.
  • As soon as new documents are uploaded, They will be notified via push notification from the app..
  • The detailed event regulations and further information will be available on the Sportity app from the beginning of August.
  • You will receive the printed roadbook physically at the start in Laufen. 

Important information about your journey

If you plan to arrive the evening before, we recommend booking a hotel in the Basel region well in advance. We are happy to assist you in selecting suitable accommodation if needed.

Schedule for the opening day in Laufen:

  • 8:00 AM: ArrivalWelcome Breakfast and equipping the vehicles (mounting transponders and rally plates, etc.)
  • 08:45 Time: Mandatory driver briefing 
  • 09:3Midnight: Official launch of RAID 2026
