A new RAID. And a new idea of rally
The center and starting point of this rally on both days is the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in CH-4133 Pratteln, which is equipped with the most modern comforts and is ideally located not far from the A2 motorway. The rally in two neighboring countries, which follows very different but roughly equally long daily routes, starts from here on Saturday and Sunday. And this is also where all participants will have dinner together on Saturday evening and where you will spend the night.
You will experience two days of time out, two days of rally atmosphere, two full days of being with like-minded people. A true concentration of RAID classic car fun.
Saturday, May 24, 2025: Welcome to the Black Forest!
There is no doubt about it – the Black Forest is one of the most impressive regions in Germany, located in close proximity to Switzerland. Green valleys through which still unchanneled streams flow, black pine forests – Black Forest!
Lonely farms under huge roofs, nearby the chapel that belongs to the farm, romantic gorges and mountain ranges with wide views.
Typical Black Forest cuisine
You drive according to the road book, on roads that make driving a classic car a pleasure and a joy. The stages are divided into zones with tests, with plenty of free driving in between; the road book takes you safely and on time to the right places.
Lunch in a beautiful location, typical dishes from a region that is also one of the best in Germany in terms of cuisine.

Sunday, May 25, 2025: Bienvenue en Alsace!
Alsace is considered a typical and one of the most beautiful regions of France. It begins right after the border with Switzerland. You cross the impressive expanse of the Rhine plain, bordered in the distance by the Black Forest on one side and the Vosges mountain range on the other. On the famous Route du Vin, you will find uniquely picturesque villages and places with their post-and-beam buildings, with roofs on which you can see stork nests and storks.
Cuisine typique alsacienne
Also on this side of the Rhine: quiet, well-developed roads on which you can really enjoy your classic car. Vineyards, green forests, varied landscapes - la vie est belle!
Lunch in a typical Alsatian wine tavern, surrounded by vineyards in the middle of an area where one of the best white wines in the world is grown.

The new road book: now the passenger has less work!
The roadbook is being prepared by Jean-Thierry Vacheron from Lausanne. The rally expert designs this important document in accordance with the internationally applicable FIA guidelines. The new roadbooks were very well received by participants at the 2024 RAID DU SUD IV and the BELMOT Autumn RAID SWISS.
The locations of the special tests are marked in the road book. This saves the passenger a lot of work – and some calculations.
